IV. Animal Shelter Levy “The Facts” Josephine County Health Director Dianne Hoover gave an excellent presentation last week on Frequently asked Questions about the Animal Shelter;

Carl Raskins, one of the co-chief petitioners for the Animal Shelter Levy asked me to post:

Dear SOS:

We are all working for a common goal–a better Josephine County!  I have been working hard to get the Animal Shelter levy (8 cents per thousand) on the ballot, and it came to me: why don’t we work together?

We have obtained over 500 signatures at Elegance shop alone.  We would love to have 20 blank petitions for Public Safety here at the store.  We would also appreciate it if some of you would work on getting our Animal Levy petitions filled out (ten signatures per sheet).

We can mail a blank petition to you, or you can come by Elegance, 321 SE 6th St.  541-476-0570

HOW SAY YOU?

Carl Raskin

Do not forget, we are talking about investing in our home. The Animal Shelter is a worthy investment in need of support. If not us, who then?
