Saturday Market Stand Sign-Ups

We agreed that at the normal SOS Saturday Market Booth, as well as at any event SOS sponsors, we need to ensure that we have: 1) SOS Committee brochures, ie. MAT-C Opiate Awareness, Lottery Committee, etc.; SOS E-Mail Sign-Up sheet; SOS T-Shirts and the SOS Signs

It was agreed that due to the overwhelming political campaigning going on at the entrance to the Saturday Market, some coined as a political “gauntlet”, that SOS would refrain from any additional Saturday Market participation until after the MAY election!

Tomorrow’s Meeting, Tuesday, March 18, 2014, will be at the Newman United Methodist Church, located at 132 NE “B” Street in Grants Pass, from 5:15 PM-6:15 PM.

The first ever St. Patrick’s Day Run for the LAW Awareness 5K/10K Run/Walk this past Saturday (March 15, 2014) was fantastic!

Community Awareness was our #1 priority and I think we achieved that with approximately 400 participants and over 450 people in attendance!

The Saint Patrick’s Day “Run For The Law” on March 15, 2014 was a great success!  The 5k / 10k events had a total of 310 registered runners/walkers and the kids dash added an additional estimated 50-60 runners!  With all the volunteers and those that came to watch we were well over 400 people that came to have fun and support local law enforcement!
