Here are the Meeting Notes:

1.     Multi-Tier Taxing District Committee Update (Kris Woodburn/Pat Fahey/Chris Mecca)—This group will have more to report after studying some info obtained from Deschutes County.

2.     The Ball Update: (Kimberly Gasperson) Ticket Update—There are just under 40 tickets left for our Fundraiser Ball! Our next meeting is today, Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the Wild River Brew Pub located at 533 NE F Street in Grants Pass from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM (We have been told by a source that this is a meeting that you will not want to miss as there shall be a “bomb shell” dropped!)

Notes from 4-2-13 SOS Public Meeting

Tuesday was another great meeting!

Here are the Highlights:
    1.     SOS about Josephine County (Jay Meredith) Jay briefly advised how SOS was gaining a reputation in the county as a solution resource; “kudos” to all of you, because the perception has been slanted that we are pro-tax period, with concept of the bigger picture for the health of our community (good segue). Crime Overwhelms Josephine County / Grants Pass Entrepreneur

After a career in a large private corporate firm, Salvador Corona moved to Josephine County and opened a successful retail business in Grants Pass.  Mr. Corona was the owner / operator of the Redwood Center Super Mini Mart until crime started overwhelming his business and family.
